#Problem solving tools – why do we avoid using them?

Dear #CEO
Why do some managers keep far away from using any form of #problemsolving tools such #A3 or #qualitycircles or even the #onepointlesson tool?
Reasons are many, here is one I came across just recently
🍒#management and #lineleadership see problem solving tools not as #motivators for #visualising and getting to #rootcause and then improving the #standardwork for themselves and their #teams , for them its unnecessary paperwork.
🍒But here is the #development issue, they don’t relate that the problems with #quality and #delivery and #productivity to name a few are actually as a result of a lack of #minimumjobrole for which they are responsible for.
🍒If they were actually doing the #job rather than spend time in the office, then there would be less of a need for formalised #problemsolving or fewer problems eitherway.
🍒Practicing solving problems by using a proven method requires the need to do your standardwork at the #genba too. Problem solving is not a #desksetup#agile event!
