I can ensure you that the three KPI’s above generate more costs than any well developed onboarding programme. Here are a few tips.
💪Treat #leadership in onboarding as a #strategic #culture building initiative. It’s not only #hr who are responsible for #recruiting and #developing new employees. Its leadership and especially line #management and #supervisors.
💪Perform #dexterity #teambuilding and #process tests.
💪Assign trained, #motivated and capable #coaches to each person.
💪Perform regular twoway (#feedback) meetings for progress and address any issues which arise. Don’t wait.
💪Make sure all company #policies, #procedures, #rewards and internal #culturechange create awareness and responsibility to new recruits. In writing and through #visualmanagement
💪Monitor the 3 KPI’s #performance regularly as a result of #onboarding.
🍒Every new recruit is important to the business and to the persons involved. They are the future of your business.
👹Any failure in getting the KPI’s and Onboarding right is a failure of #leadership. A hard lesson but it’s down to top management to get it right, support it and for operations to deliver it.
